DOUBLE THE LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY
Addressing the weaknesses of factory flywheels in high-power V10 builds, the HPL DL800 features six load-carrying contact points for superior torque distribution. A fully encapsulated driven plate eliminates warping and flexing issues commonly found in the factory unit, ensuring optimal performance and durability.
INCREASED DAMPING
The HPL DL800 Flywheel features a redesigned damping system with 12 heavy-duty springs and specialized grease to optimize friction reduction and heat management.
A factory flywheel utilizes three springs, which are insufficient for high-torque applications. Under stress, these springs can collapse, resulting in coil bind. This condition can force the midplate out of its guides becoming lodged and potentially causing significant damage.
The DL800 flywheel has eliminated this probability by using heavier-duty dampening springs and limiting the travel before coil binding.
